I tend to play Peter as somewhere between late 20's and early 30's, doing Grad school stuff but still working for the Daily Bugle taking pictures of Spider-Man.

[ Johnny's lips tug up a little into a small smirk, hinting Peter's ability to pretend he's not Spider-Man to be evidence he's good at it. Because of course he can't say that out loud, not even when they're in a secluded booth in an empty restaurant. He'd rather they get caught being handsy than someone overhearing Peter's secret identity.

As soon as he feels Peter's getting hard, he slows down his caresses until he stops. But before even doing so, Johnny briefly, and quickly, leans in to kiss that bulge. ]

Oops, thought my knife fell. [ Pretty smooth, Johnny. In a quieter voice, he adds: ] Fine, I'll stop. It's just cute to see you blush and squirm. We've never done this before, so I thought this is the perfect opportunity. [ Being secluded and all. ]

How's the lobster?

Shut up.

[ Pretending to be Spider-Man is wildly different from trying to pretend he's not getting felt up and jerked off by his boyfriend in a restaurant.

He really, really hopes the wait staff that is here is not sneaking pictures of them right now. It feels like what Johnny did was so obvious. ]

I mean, you're not wrong about the opportunity part. [ He reaches over and squeezes Johnny's arm to reassure him he didn't go too far or anything. ] Just maybe give a guy a heads up next time. I wasn't really thinking about something like this happening.

[ He was imagining a lot of wining, dining, and romance. The sex would come later when they were alone. ]

It's all really good. All of it. [ Including everything Johnny just did. ]

[ With a softening smile, Johnny takes hold of Peter's hand and kisses its knuckles before holding it against his cheek. ]

I will, I promise.

[ That's something he'd have to work towards - be a little less impulsive. He appreciates Peter's reassurance, though.

Releasing Peter's hand, Johnny begins to dig into their food. ] Wow, yeah! This is awesome! I've had their lobster before but I think it's better tonight.

[ Must be because this whole night's especially paid for. ]

[ Impulsive isn't bad when it's randomly going to grab ice cream or deciding to see a movie or try a new taco place. Sexually impulsive is something Peter is just getting comfortable with. ]

Do you come here a lot? [ Peter sort of figured it must be a favorite for big dates. ] I mean, the view is amazing.

[ He makes sure he's looking at Johnny when he says it. Because he's corny and has so many feelings every time he looks at his boyfriend. ]

[ That kind of corny is something Johnny can always get behind and it shows by the way he grins, warm and bright. Maybe there's also the tiniest hint of a smirk there because of course he's an amazing view.

Leaning in to kiss Peter softly and briefly as thanks for being the cutest sappy boyfriend he is and for the compliment, he nods. ]

Yeah, I ate with some friends here. Never brought anyone else on a date, though, 'cause I figured I'd only bring someone here when they're really special.

[ Yeah, your boyfriend's a huge sap, too, Peter. He can't take his eyes off of you. ] 'Cause the view's pretty fantastic.

[ Okay, Peter's a little surprised. He thought Johnny would've brought dates here all the time. Like it was his favorite date spot. Apparently, he's wrong and he feels warmth spread heavily through his chest. ]

You're making me feel really special. So, gold star. [ Peter's never been treated like this. It's wonderful and a little exasperating too but it's very Johnny.

He turns back to his meal. Peter has a feeling he's going to need all his energy for when he and Johnny are alone. ] If there's anything I can do to make it more special for you, just tell me. I want you to feel special too.
